
Unique selling point
At first as a group we decided to base our Unique selling point on the shakespearan play 'A midsummer's night dream'. We decided to base our unique selling point around this play as we found many similiarites between our music video and the play. One of the similiarities we found was that two men were involved with one girl and their was a sort of love triangle. This is similiar to our music video as their is two men who like the same girl however the girl is cheating on one of the men with the other who is unaware of the affair. In the end we decided to scrap this idea as the link between our music video and the shakespearen play was too loose. We feared that there was too many differences like that there in total was 6 different people who were romantically involved with one another in the play and this would cause confusion amongst the audience who may not get the intertextual reference to the plays.
We then learnt that blending both the Hindi and R&B genre was in itself a Unique selling point as there are hardly any music videos which blend these two genres together. This will seperate our artist from the other artists in the R&B genre or the Hindi genre as he doesnt belong to one specific genre but is part of both. We then decided not to add in another Unique selling point as we believed we already possessed one.
