After our extensive research into the type of costumes our characters should wear we decided to pick and choose what costumes were available to us and which ones would suit our media production. The conventions of many Love themed music videos showed us that casual smart clothes were the costumes often portrayed in many media text as the costume in which couples wear to meet their partners. Also another convention found in many music videos in our genre were that the lead male artists often wore fashionable clothing in order to build a social image that they were fashionable and wealthy. So we had to also keep this in mind.
